Who we are
Pecuvate Limited ("Pecuvate", "we") is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 10687487. Registered office: Union House, 111 New Union Street, Coventry, England, CV1 2NT. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: legal@pecuvate.com.
What this policy covers
- our website, pecuvate.com, including the blog;
- email you send us;
- the publishing software we run to post our own content to our own social media accounts (LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Medium).
Our website
pecuvate.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider (Netlify) processes standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver and secure the site. We do not use those logs to identify you.
When you email us
If you email enquiries@pecuvate.com we receive your name, email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and to deal with what you asked about. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or steps towards a contract if you ask about working with us. We keep correspondence for as long as needed for that purpose and for up to 6 years where it relates to a contract.
Our publishing software
We run our own software to publish Pecuvate's and our founder's content to the accounts we own. It is not offered to the public, and no one else can sign in to it.
- What it accesses: only the accounts we own, using access the platform grants when we sign in: permission to publish posts and read basic details of our own posts and profile.
- What it stores: the access tokens for those accounts, encrypted in our secrets store (Supabase Vault), and a record of what we published and when.
- Other people's data: the software does not collect, store or process personal data about other platform users. If a platform returns public information on our own posts (for example, reaction counts), we use it only to see how our content performs, and do not store it with anyone's identity.
- Sharing: we never sell or share data from any platform, and we use it for no purpose other than publishing and managing our own content.
Disconnecting an account deletes its token from our store. You can also revoke our access at any time from the platform's own settings.
Who processes data for us
Netlify (website hosting), Supabase (encrypted storage), and our email provider. Some of these process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to have it transferred. Email legal@pecuvate.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
We will post any change here and update the date at the top.
